Crowns & Bridges

क्राउन (कॅप) आणि ब्रिज

कमकुवत किंवा RCT झालेल्या दाताला संरक्षण देण्यासाठी कॅप, आणि पडलेल्या दाताची जागा भरण्यासाठी ब्रिज.

A crown (cap) covers a weak, broken or root-canal-treated tooth to protect it. A bridge replaces a missing tooth by fixing a false tooth to crowns on the neighbouring teeth.

Who it is for

People with a root-canal-treated back tooth, a cracked or heavily filled tooth, or one missing tooth with healthy neighbours.

Types we offer

Metal-ceramic and zirconia. We explain the difference in look, strength and cost.

What happens and how many visits

  1. Visit 1: the tooth is shaped and measurements are taken, and a temporary crown is placed.
  2. Visit 2, a few days later: the crown or bridge is checked and cemented.
  3. Usually 2 visits in total; more if a root canal or build-up is needed first.

Aftercare

  • Avoid sticky or hard food on the temporary.
  • Clean under a bridge with floss threaders or an interdental brush, as shown.
  • Come for check-ups, because decay can still start at the edge of a crown.

Fee

Metal-ceramic crown: ₹2,500 to ₹4,500 per tooth. Zirconia crown: ₹8,000 to ₹10,000 per tooth. Laboratory work is included in the crown fee. Bridges are priced per unit. Written estimate before treatment.

Frequently asked questions

It depends on the tooth’s position, your bite and your budget. We explain the options for your case.

Not always for front teeth, but back teeth usually need one to prevent cracking.

A bridge needs the neighbouring teeth to be shaped. An implant does not, but it needs surgery and healthy bone. We explain both.
