Toothache & Same-Day Pain Care

If you have a toothache, call us. During clinic hours we try to see pain patients the same day, find the cause and relieve the pain. Then we explain the options for treating the cause.

Go to the nearest hospital emergency immediately if:

  • swelling spreads to the eye or neck
  • you have difficulty swallowing, breathing or opening your mouth
  • you have high fever with facial swelling
  • bleeding will not stop after an injury or extraction

Who it is for

Anyone with tooth pain, a broken tooth, gum swelling, a lost filling or crown, or pain after an extraction.

What happens and how many visits

  1. We ask about your pain and your health (diabetes, BP, pregnancy, medicines, allergies).
  2. Examination and X-ray.
  3. First aid in the same visit where possible, for example opening and cleaning the tooth, a temporary filling, or draining an abscess.
  4. We explain what treatment the tooth needs (filling, root canal or extraction) and the cost. Most need 1–3 more visits.

Aftercare

Take only the medicines advised, at the dose advised. Don’t place aspirin or tobacco on the gum. Return for the full treatment even if the pain settles, because pain often stops when the nerve dies while the infection remains.

Fee

Emergency consultation: ₹200. Treatment as per Our Fees, with an estimate before it begins.

Frequently asked questions
